indoors to outside

I just put mine right outdoors but is there a extreme climate difference that your plants will face?

What do you mean by "harden"??? You need to provide more info. Are you still vegging or in flowering? How hot is it where you are? Humidity? The best approach is to slowly supplement your artificial lighting with natural and slowly increase the amount of natural sunlight until you are 100% natural. This way you reduce the risk of stress and a hermie. One other point, make sure you pot is insulated (you can put it into a bigger pot or wrap in cardboard, etc.). If you pot gets too hot outdoors, especially if it's plastic, it can "cook" the roots and damage your plant. Good luck.

some people say u have to harden them off like gradually put them outside so they don't get shock and die. now do u get what i mean?

I use black plastic pots. Take some sand paper and then spray paint then with white paint (well before using). Only a coat or two is needed and the looks don't matter. This helps reduce the amount of heat absorbed by the pot.

Yes. I think that's what I said. Slowly supplement with natural light. Just don't go from weak CFLs, for example, to harsh strong sunlight.

Great advice, Mogie. Just make sure your don't spray inside and add toxins to your soil as the paint degrades.

That is if you go from your grow room which is 85 degrees to outside that is lets say 110 degrees. The shock of the change in temp can cause your plants stress. Where I am the difference in temp is only about 10-15 degrees so no problem. The plants thrive.

I use t5's and put them straight out into sunlight with no problem. As soon as they get the real thing the growth goes crazy.

I am doing a combo inside/outside and I am in Florida. I am in vegging and give my girls 11-12 hours natural sun and complete with 7-8 hours of artificial.

I've put plant out from my grow room ... the temp. difference what not much so they had no problems adapting at all.
