Indoor to outdoor help

I have a clone of Trainwreck that I planted in a 3 gallon pot in soil. I've got it in my tent right now, where I also have 4 other plants (400w MH, 24/0). I plan on moving the TW outside to finish in the ground, sometime around mid-March. I live in SoCal, so my weather should be nice and warm/sunny by then. I've read some articles that indicate I will have issues with flowering too early especially since it will be in 24 hour light until it gets planted. I'm looking for some advice on how to artificially adjust its day so that I can continue its veg cycle outside. The other 4 plants will most likely be going into flower around mid-March, so I don't really want to mess with their lighting too much. Up until now, my only thought was to remove the TW for gradually increasing periods of time until it's only in the light for the same duration as daylight lasts, then putting it outside.I may be able to wait till late March, but I'd feel safer if I could do it earlier. Last question - do I need to re-veg on my own or will it happen naturally?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ok I will jump in here. I have just 3 years experience but am familiar with jumping from indoor to outdoor. I have my clone box on 24 hr and my veg box is 16 on 8 off. When the plants get too big for the veg box they go into a corral about 5' x 5' on the patio with a low power flouride bulb in an outdoor clip on light with a silver cone that increases the light. Very inexpensive. I just set the light on the patio to come on when it gets dark in the evening until about 11 PM. This way they still get about 16 hours of light which keeps them from budding.

The next part is critical and can not be simply stated as a particular date. In So Cal you can probably put the plants in the ground to receive natural sun the second week of May in Nor Cal the third week of May. This however is definitely not absolute since it also depends on the weather. You really need to check the long term weather report when you plant. If you put the girls in the ground the the 2nd week of may and it is heavily overcast or rainy they can still trigger. So keep the calendar and the weather in mind when going from indoors to out.

Mid March is too soon. I have done what you are about to do many times. Step one you need to turn back the light cycle to 18/6. If you try to put it out any time of the year coming from a 24/0 cycle it will flower and never revert. Step two let the 18/6 ride out for 7-10 day and then retard the cycle by one hour every 7 days until you get 15/9 cycle.By retarding the cycle slowly it minimizes stress and will allow you to continue the veg phase when the plant goes outdoors. Step three during daylight hours during your light schedule you should put your plants in the sun. Dont put them in direct sunlight at first try a shady location maintaining your on and off hours. Tip if you are growing in a greenhouse or make a small lean to with 6 mill clear plastic from the hardware store you can put plants under the plastic in the sun. The plastic acts as a diffuser and lowers the intensity of the sun. If you have followed all the steps your plants will be ready to go out and stay out late April.
