hey all,
ive got 2 timers ur basic indoor version. with the push in settings. used 1 timer per hps lamp. set to 12 12 's . everything has been fine. then i added 4 23w cfls for side light. i obviously want these time controlled too. so i unplugged my 400w hps from its own timer, i plugged in a new surge outlet so id have 6 plugins on 1 timer. then i plugged the 400hps in2 the surge protector along with all the cfls.. now timer isnt acting right. i have to slide the manual overide over to get them to turn off and on now...so im doing it manually now which is a whore. wuts the deal with this timer says its rated for 15 amps 1000w's. can u not plug a outlet bar into a timer and run off that? answers please. im thinking just buying a couple more timers, so i can put the 400 back on its own timer......answers really appreciated. cfls are 4 plugins, with y splitters
