I'm really interested in adding a few lettuce plants in the grow room. I've seen that you can simply cut from the lettuce plant and it will regrow vigorously! I'm wondering if anyone has tried this.. I think it would be pretty cool to grow my own lettuce for salads.

Never grew leaf lettuce inside but outside. If you cut it a few inches above the soil it will regrow just like grass grows fast!

i usually harvest the big leaves as i need them. im seeing about seeding them and replanting. seeding seems to take a while on some plants though. so, this idea is a pretty efficient method.

I've got spinach, kale and Swiss chard outside. Never grown lettuce, inside or out. Looking forward to seeing how you do with it.

lettuce is basically the easiest plant to grow. it does not like hot weather outside, so more for cooler season, spring and fall.

The lettuce is doing great so far! I've fed them a few times, they are about 1 month old.

Little red peppers and 1 little pak choi

harvested outdoor lettuce mix.
the reddish reseeded from last year in container.

That looks good. I tried to grow a salad this year. I've had spinach, tomatoes, onions, cukes and peppers. But never had them all at the same time.
