Only growing one for now in my limited closet space, roughly 2x2. (Just purchased an actual tent though, so I may grow another one in there).
Viparspectra V600 blurple LED
No germination, dropping the seed straight into its 3gal fabric pot of FoxFarm soil. Lightly spraying the area over the seed with bottled purified water.
I also laid a zip lock bag over it and I'm shining a small spot light in hopes of keeping the humidity a bit higher.

Day 1

Here we go...

P.S. In honor of 9/11, now that I think of it, I think I'll rename this particular plant to "George Bush"... because it's gonna be the bomb...

Good luck mate, I always germinate in peat pellets. I find the soil can be a bit hot for seedlings to germinate easily. Keen to watch it grow

i use a multi purpose compost that works well with or without perlite. jiffy pots are great for seedlings b4 you pop them into those ff filled pots

I was contemplating goin the jiffy pots route but said eff it lets try it straight into soil. There's always next time. I like the idea of germing and in the past have used the paper towel method but hate yanking the taproot off the papertowel, it can't be good.

Thanks mate! I've never tried germinating in peat pellets but I think I'll try that for my next grow.
This is what I've used the last 2 grows tbh and I'm having 99% success rate. I just soak the seeds in a cup of water for 8-12 hour and straight in to these bad boy and I pop a tray a month. But jiffy's are still awesome

Sweet! Thanks. I'd probably go thru that whole tray in a year lol if not more. My living situation isn't optimal per say for growing buds. If it was up to me my place would be more of a greenhouse than an apartment lol

Seedling sprouted on 9/16. I've given it 18-24 hours a day and kept humidity around 70-80% as well as temp. I have the humidifier but the mist just goes over the plant and doesnt really hit it. So I've been putting a plastic bottle over it and that helps. Not sure if its also hurting though. Is it just me or is she looking small for a one week old seedling...
