Im waiting for my plants to reach 18 inches before I switch to 12/12 how does everyone else tell when to switch do you go off size or lenth of time? Also im currently about 4 1/2 weeks and they are in the 8-10 inch range is that well?

what strand are they? I usually start an autoflower with my regulars and swap from veg when the auto finishes, keeps me from having to write shit down lol granted that's also an 8-9 week veg.

its honestly on your preference on how big you want them because when you switch them and the flower theyll double in size hope it helps
