Hey folks. How tall should i let an indica plant grow before i flower. I know they don't stretch much so should i veg it longer? I guess my question is whats the perfect height of an Indica when it finishes?

There is no "perfect" finish height. The height you choose to grow the plant is based on your environment and what your space allows.

If you have 10Ft you can probably grow 6-8ft tall plants (accounting for light height).... if you only have 3 feet, you can probably grow a 1-2foot tall plant. This is when advanced techniques like scrod, lst, fim/top come into play.

Drsalt gave you some good general guidelines.

Note the heights of your plants before flower and after flower, then if you clone you will have a better idea for your next run.

Potency has more to do with genetics and overall grow environment/conditions.

Okay cool. I was worried i needed to grow them big and tall in order to be super dank. I have room for about 4-5 feet tall. that's why i chose indica's because i'm in a tent. I don't wanna have to cut the top off the tent. lol

You can always keep your tent whole, go all crazy serial killer and chop the tops off your girls. (Aka. topping)

Or some light LST if you do end up with more stretch than you anticipated.

Imo. be more focused on filling your container/medium with a nice healthy root-ball mass before flipping to flower.
Flip at 50% of finish height like Salt said and you should be okay.
