In need of help/advice

I have a friend who is using miracle grow soil with time released nutes with moisture control. They are 4-5 weeks into flowering and their plants have pretty much stopped growing altogether. It looks like a combination of over watering and nute burn, at this point the plant doesn't seem to be taking up water at all. They watered about a week ago and the pots are still drenched. I am not sure if the over watering has caused root rot or what at this point. The plants are pretty much a lost caused, but would like to try and help them salvage what they can. What can they do to at least get the plants to start drinking again and finish flowering? Would a dose of h2o2 help here at all? Thought possibly it would clean the roots up and it could at least start drinking/feeding again? I thought of flushing, but with time released nutes, this may only intensify the problems. Thoughts/advice/ideas? Like I said it's pretty much a lost caused, so I figured we might as well give something a try to try and salvage what is left.

Ok, I know, they aren't pretty. Here you go:

Thanks for lookin, I hope we can get them squared away and salvage the rest of the grow.

Thanks travis, that is exactly what I told them, STOP watering. I even brought them a moisture meter to show that the pots are drenched. They said they haven't watered for a week and the moisture meter has a 1-10 rating on moisture and it was above 10, so I think I proved my point that even though it had been a week, it still didn't need water.
