In flowering, leave yellowing

Ok so im about 3 weeks into flowering.

I noticed as soon as it went into flowering about 6 of my biggest fan leaves started yellowing. They got so yellow they just fell off (without dieing). I thought this was the beginning and my plant was just using those juices from the leaves to put into my delicious buds.

Now Im noticing a lot more fan leaves yellowing, off of my bigger branches and stuff. The leaves are they are yellowing are the bigger leaves on the big branches, and none of them are coming off bud sites ONLY the main stock and main branches.

My other plant that has been getting the same ammount of food and love, is very dark green in comparison. It was pissed on about 10 times from my dog, so maybe that one is loving the nitrogen, although my one that is yellowing has faster/better bud production.

Is this just my plant putting all of its energy into flowering? Could this be a nitrogen deficiency since I started on my flowering nutrients (although my last feeding I gave her some N)

Hopefully everything is ok because this bitch is big and juicy and i would hate to run into problems now.

at that stage of flowering, the plant is using what its got coming through the roots to produce matter so i doubt theyre dying because theyre being sucked in to the bud production process.

in my experience lower fan leaves just tend to do this kind of stuff.

I dont think your post will make it any better:mrgreen: NPK the whole grow is what, produces good sized buds, spiking it with high doses of Phos,or trying to overdose it with nitrogen to fix the problem wont help,it needs scheduled feedings and regular flushes to prevent lockout and grow nice and healthy.:blsmoke:

his dog pissed all over his plant. his leaves were yellowing. i told him to give it nitrogen but to be careful because it already had some from the dog piss. or was it the other plant that got pissed on? either way, regular doses of nitrogen keep your leaves green and helathy. :)

Get off the nitrogen trip. Once plants go into flowering they will naturally shed their fan leaves. This process will continue until harvest. By the time you harvest there should only be a few fan leaves left at the top of the plant.

Thats because the plant is using up stored nutes in the fan leaves, and its using those nutes because its not getting any nitrogen..off course you want higher phos but you also need nitrogen in the mix.letting the plant use up stored nutes and not feeding anything will hinder its maximum yield. feeding nitrogen through flower keeps it green,it keeps it growing good, and most of all grows big buds.:blsmoke:
