my seeds are about to pop and i have a badass spot i have dubbed "mecca" its about 5/6th of a mile from my house with 2/3 of it in dense forest steep hills and rugged terrain "there is no way anyone will go back there its too far back" it has a small nice stream and a flat area about 50 feet by 15 feet and when i went there about 4:10 est there was a spot getting tons of sunlight i'd want to plant there but i do not know if it gets that same amount of sunlight during the rest of the day theres like trees 350+ years old its sick would it be bad for the plants if they were in indirect sunlight? because i really would like to plant here

Security is, by necessity, the primary concern outdoors. While your plants would grow larger and yield more admirably in a fully sunny spot, the lack of cover that such a spot would entail may lead to rip-offs, and then those extra ounces you'd gain from that direct sunshine wouldn't amount to much. I'd say if you've got a secluded, secure spot, go for it and amend it in whatever subtle ways you can to promote longer, stronger sunshine for your plants. I'm personally opposed to making any major amendments to the surrounding forests, but clipping back a branch here or there could end up helping a bit. Good luck with the grow!

where i plan to grow theres already a small tree about 12 feet tall and smaller trees abput 2 feet tall i plant to cut a branch off the larger tree and set my pots there do you think that my plants would be able to yeild at least 2 oz each in indirect sunlight?

You want at least 3 hours of direct sunlight. Take the time to "map" the sun; visit the location starting from 9 or 10am and note where the sunshine falls (take a picture or draw a map). Re-visit every 2 hours and note where the sunshine falls has moved to, do this until 5 or 6pm. At the end you'll know where the sun falls and when. You can then make an informed decision, considering security and everything else, on where to place your plants. Put them in pots so your plants are mobile thus allowing you to move the plants and manipulate sun exposure. Moving them strategically at mid day (or so) 2 or 3 times a week to maximize sunlight could result in many more overall hours of sunlight. Re-map a couple weeks after the summer solstice(earlyJuly) to maximize sun exposure for flowering

its pretty far to be making multiple daily trips i can see a lot of vegitation growing there i think ima just get rid of it the 12 foot tree and the small ones "mother nature will get me:(" and i am almost sure it gets more than 3 hours of direct sunlight....even if i only get an ounce a plant off lets say 3-5 plants ill be happy
