In 8th Week of flower, Spotted a Few Bananas. Advice?

starting week 8 of flower, about 80% trichs seem to be milky white and I noticed a few bananas on a couple flowers. Should I cut the bananas, the branches, the plant? I have a bunch of other plants at different stages in the same room and would be very upset if this hermie looking problem pollenated anything else. Any words of wisdom or personal experience??

Well, said it yourself, you have several plants in different stages in the same room, I'd chop the plant. I mean, if you chop some branches, 'nanners might show up somewhere else, right? If you don't want seeds with hermie genetics, I suggest removing it from the room or chopping.

So are these guys lethal to the rest of the plants right now?

had the same thing happen to me.. How long till it's supposed to be finished? I'd personally take one plant out early than risk the whole room having seeds.. I don't like seeing seeds in anything but breeder's packs.

end of the week eight is 7 days away (8 weeks per breeder)

Yeah, they're lethal...pollen is pollen, and every grain of pollen that touches a pistil of any of the mature ladies in your room will form a seed inside the calyx that pistil is attached to.

Well, you could, but one missed bananna can make a LOT of seeds, and the plant will probably just grow more. There is a product called Reverse...I believe it's supposed to stop the hermie process from progressing further, but I've never used it and don't know much about it.

Hmmm, anyone have any experience with Reverse??
Im still leaning towards chop to be safe...

What are your thoughts about moving it to a different area and snipping the two flowers that have em?? I dont have the lighting in the other area though...do you think it would be worth it to try and drag this out for another week under weak lighting?

Prob just stress her out and produce more bananas huh??

I was just watching a vid about plant biology and the professor said that auxin would elimanate seeds on most plants, maybe that's whats in reverse?

I mean, if you could just totally isolate it, throw like 4 x 26 w 2700k CFL's on it, you could run it for another week or two...But if you have other plants to wory about and care for, then I think it's best to chop and move on...not like this is the last plant you'll ever grow, right?

To use Gold Range REVERSE, simply follow these easy guidelines!

1. As a preventative aid, spray your plants the first time as required (usually approx 7 days into flower cycle) and once again 10 days later OR can be used at the first sight of trouble by spraying with Gold Range REVERSE immediately and once again 10 days later.
2. DO NOT DILUTE WITH WATER - Pour the amount of Gold Range REVERSE you need into a spray bottle. Typically 500 ml / ½ quart is enough for one application for the average sized garden.
3. * Important * Add Gold Range SATURATOR to undiluted Gold Range REVERSE at the rate of 10 ml / 2 teaspoons per litre / quart only! A 500 ml / ½ quart spray bottle will require 5 ml / 1 teaspoon of Gold Range SATURATOR and a 250 ml / 8 oz spray bottle will require only 2.5 ml / ½ teaspoon of Gold Range SATURATOR.
4. Gently shake the spray bottle with the solution to make sure it is well mixed.
5. * Important * - you must spray the solution within 15 minutes of adding Gold Range SATURATOR!
6. Make sure your lights are a minimum of 24 inches from the tops of your plants then spray your plants until the leaves are evenly coated with the spray solution and a small runoff occurs. MAKE SURE YOU AVOID SPRAYING THE GLOBES / BULBS. I get it, I get it. I'm just not usually one to give up without a fight is all. I dont think this one is worth taking a chance of losing this one! I will see how it smokes plucked early. Thanks a bunch for the advice.

will the pollen sacs return after the spray? whats the saturated stuff??
