Immediate Flowering (12/12) on Sativas

I am looking to grow 2 plants: a sativa dominant hybrid and a primarily indica plant. I wish to flower them at the same time (therefore needing to minimize the height differential).

Awhile back I saw a youtube video of Arjan's Ultra Haze #2 being given a 12/12 light cycle right off the bat in order to keep the plant shorter than most sativas. My question is: Would this method be effective for all sativas or is it specific to the AUH2? If this is not a viable method of minimizing height, is there another method you can recommend?? Thanks a bunch in advance.

i would think scrog would be the way to go for you. If you go 12/12 right off the bat youll have a weak yeild cause of almost no nodes for nugs to grow...ya feel me? with scrog you make the plant grow wide not tall, maximizing budsites which translates to a bigger yield...search for scrog and you should be in luck my friend...GL with your grow bro

Very interesting.... Thanks a lot. I really appreciate the advice. I have heard of scrog but never really studied the method in-depth (instead paying more attention to sog). I will take your advice and run bro

Check out my white rhino grow. the plants are almost ready to harvest. they are under a 400W HPS and went straight to 12/12 once the clones were rooted.

Also take a look at my Haze (from nirvana) plants. I have a new set going in at 12/12 after a week or so after cloning. The other plants are soon ready for harvest i topped one and bent one. Both where put in soon after rooting. I think the topped plant may end up with more buds and will be ready for harvest sooner. It seems to have bushed out. I topped it when it got to the hight of my cab minus 6 or so inches. I bent the other one when it got to the top of the cabinet. Both where clones taken at the same time from the same mother and treated the same way. I should have more pictures tomorrow show the progress.
