just screw that cfl in the fixture and your go to go. you don't a reflector for cfls they don't help. just keep the light 3-4"off the top of the plant.

to answer your question you can use aluminum soda cans, but in my opinion, these "reflectors" are only gonna trap the heat from rising naturally and your gonna burn yourself on the big soda cans when fondling your grow, not to mention it just isn't attractive.good luck!:leaf:

Themoose is right brother i had all my lights using soda can reflectors and it raised the temp in my room like 8 degrees and i burnt the shit outta myself and i couldn't get my lights as close to my tops as i wanted. I hear u can attach a pc fan to each one put its so impractical i would just fashion yourself a batwing reflector if u can. Good luck with ur grow m8

I use 3 clamp style worklights with "Y" splitters on them. I actually found that the plants grew faster without the reflective covers on them. I have to attribute this to airflow issues or trapped heat? Can't explain why that was, but I can guarantee they are not what you want.

Also you get the lights inside the cannopy and then all the light is used. cfl's have very little light output. That is why you put them so close to the plant. If you try to reflect low light you get no light.
