I just added a few broken roses and a few leaves on the dirt around my baby plant , is this qood for the plant ? I heard it was . Please Help .

Well I don't know the answer to your >?< but I gotta LOL @ Do this works! I'd figure its like composting but I'm pretty sure your plant will be dead before you see the benefits of the soil breaking down the dead leaves.

it will be once it breks down and turns into compost. plus it releases co2. tho won't really make much difference

nah not really. I mean.. the results would be so minimal that you wouldn't be able to physically see it with your own eyes... no.

it will serve as a top mulch which is beneficial in maintaining moisture at the top of your media between waterings. but so would any good organic mulch except cedar; our plants don't like cedar. I seem to vaguely remember somethin about the benefit to using roses as a top dressing but it escapes me at the moment and may just be my high ass trippin....
