Title says it all. I use his recipe to the T. Everything I use is exactly what he does, Down to Earth: Blood & Fish Bone meal, Azomite. Happy Frog 0-5-0, epsom, hydrated lime, humic acid, 30lbs black gold worm poop, EXT........

I do half recipe, 3 bags Roots, 1 bag Bio-Bizz Light mix.

I DO use RO water... is that the problem? Doubt it, any suggestions.

My veg plants new growth is super light green w/ dark green veins, and all curled up like a joint. The leaves do turn normal after growing some more, and around week 4-5 of flower I have a Cal-Mag def like no other... to the point half the leaf has that rusty color and is so dead that when you touch it, they just crumble apart and fall off!

ALSO IM 10WEEKS IN ON AGENT ORANGE AND VORTEX AND ALL THE HAIRS ARE STILL WHITE?????? WTF

your ph is fucked up somewhere.....did you let your supersoil activate long enough?......sounds like only certain nutrients were available to the plant at varying times.....i call it the "trickle effect"......it can give you deficiency problems, and span out your harvest window......also, what percentage super soil to base did you use?

My PH was generaly at 6.0-6.5, I let the SS activate for about 1.5-2moths... so yes, And every plant (Agent Orange, Vortex, Strawberry Diesel, Cheese, Skunk, Great White Shark, and Giga) all got about 50% super soil, and the rest was filled with Roots Organic in #10 Nursery Pots ( I guess 7gals )

I did use Fulvic Acid ALMOST every watering just because I found it brought my PH down to like I said 6.0-6.5, and I recently learned its benefits.

Also recently learned its not good to use Fulvic more then once per week.

Sup West coast, RO water is the problem. If you use RO water you have to add cal/mag to your water Peace

your fulvic may have built up, and acidified the medium.....thus locking out nutrients..........less is best.......thats about all i can come up with.......i wouldn't use it at all imho.

oh shit....you should have used dolomite lyme bro, not hydrated! that will kill your plants!!!!........dolomite is your cal and mag, and your buffer!.....bummer...

people saying RO causes cal mag deficiency... thats in coco. and the calcium and magnesium found in tap water has too large of particles to even be taken up by your plants... what your preaching applies to coco. in most soil mixes the calcium and magnesium are supplied by the lime or other amendments... dont preach what you dont know. RO water in a proper soil mix will not give you any deficiency s and if it does give you one it would almost certainly still be there if you were using tapwater too!! the RO water is fine work on your soil

You got it! Peace

So Reeker is saying to use a Cal-mag supplement, Keepitcoastal says not to : thats only a Coco thing, and the dude at my grow shop says Subs SS has so much Cal-mag in it that one may lock out the other...

that soil if you had used the dolomite lime would have had all the calcium and magnesium you needed. but i think you problem is related to using the wrong type of lime in the soil mix. did you let your soil mix sit for 30 days?

I DID use some "prilled garden lime" shit that i passed through a coffee grinder on the batch in question ( i used strait up Dolomite this time for my next round )
-The "prilled garden lime" I used said it was chalked full of Ca-Mg just like normal Dolomite...

And yes let the SS activate for 1.5-2months...

i think your fulvic is causing lock-out....

So far this is my conclusion, the dude at the grow shop even said it was bad juju to use that shit every time

Im going to use just strait up RO water with nothing added, I do believe that the SS has all CaMg I could ever need like KEEPITCOASTAL said.

Also like you said NUGBUCKETS the Fulvic may be fucken with my PH and locking out nutes

THANK YOU EVERY ONE!!!!!

it says in subs super soil thread to add 1/2 cup powdered calmag for 8 bags if using RO water but in your case it would be 1/4 cup for 4 bags.
not sure if this was mentioned but i think it could be the problem!
