Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

They sent me the email on their own on 7/30. I didn’t Send one at that time.
That’s interesting. I got an emailed receipt of payment but no email verifying the application. Sent an email today to ask if they received it. They said they did get the app but didn’t tell me what day they got it on. Congrats on getting it. I think 75 days from receipt of app is a little faster than it’s been.

Medical Cannabis Outreach? What is this? Can you send a link. I am concerned there are going to be more and more fraudulent places trying to take advantage of people. In my opinion, its best to apply directly to the state. You can call or email though.

Quick Story: There was this guy operating a non-profit out of the Aurora area, I volunteered to help out and he was like great send a resume. Without getting into it, I have a lot of background knowledge as to how both the state works and cannabis works. I just check and it looks like his "non-profit" vanished. He might have basically gotten money from the state or federal government and then disappeared. This is the worst type of thing to happen, because its this type of stuff that Rauner and his anti-medical cannabis cronies use. To try to limit our access to medication. Remember, he is on record of saying he is "not a fan of the program", tried to veto it several times and basically had to have his arm twisted to open it up to PTSD patients (which now encompass 80 percent of new applicants).
Those places are actually having to close down or change the way they operate after the opiod bill and changes to the current program. Places can no longer profit from helping others with the application process. They will get around it by charging more to see their Dr. Etc I'm sure. But mco is where I went, I probably could have done it on my own but not as quickly and efficiently as the 1.5 hrs I spent there. There was a mcco in asdison, that from what I read was very close to scammy but I don't know. Mco was only waiting until the Monday after they ran clinics the week before to mail it, so 20+ days to submit is new as far as I can tell.

Medical Cannabis Outreach is legit. They have excellent customer service. Not to mention I only spent about 30 minutes at my appointment and I was done. They submit applications the following Monday after your appointment via mail. I'm not sure why IDPH didn't receive mine until 7/26 but from what I was recently advised, someone from the 7/5 clinic just received there card today. I should be up any time.

Day 76 since IDPH received my application. Tomorrow marks two weeks since my check was cashed. Yesterday I went to my mailbox and there was an envelope from IDPH. I thought great this is my card but......It wasn't. I open up the envelope and in it was a cover letter saying that my application was incomplete with a blank page two of the application. That is the application page with the fee. The fee portion was crossed out. The qualifying condition was checked and the letter said Please sign and date. You do not have to pay an additional fee. I know I included it or I wouldn't have known how much to pay. It told me I could scan it to a PDF and submit electronically which I immediately did. I do not know how this will impact my waiting time. The letter was dated October 11th, eight days after the check was cashed. The information had to be submitted by a Due Date of 12/11/2018. Bureaucracy at it's best! I'll post when I get my card.

Yeah. sure does suck but can't do anything about it other then wait. I got to figure that this adds time but it will be interesting to see how long after you get yours, I get mine. I find it curious that I could submit the "missing" document electronically but they had to send the request via snail mail. I bet you get yours by Friday of this week or sooner. Hope so!

Congratulations!! That's great. Hope you are going to stop by the dispensary!
I imagine everyone’s first trip to the dispensary is crazy. I’ve been searching my dispensaries site in anticipation of my card and still can’t decide what I want to buy. I wonder how many people went through their 2 1/2 ounces in the first week. Lol.

Oh I was just a few grams shy on my first visit! Saved the whole three month wait and took advantage of veteran discount and first time customer discount plus git a T-shirt and a free gram of concentrate! You'll learn that some growers are better than others even within the same company one site will have better flower than the other. If you buy something you like, it may not be there your next trip. The amount of new flower types all the time is incredible. Topicals and Edibles are my new favorite things and everyone should have the opportunity to choose this route over any prescription drugs.

I should add I still have some of the stuff I got that first visit! There's just so many ways to ingest it that I forget about things. If you're a flower person I would suggest a good grinder not a cheapo, that amount of kief I've collected on medicinal bud vs street bud is insane

I have something in the mail from IDPH coming today. My luck it's just something saying I forgot to do something on my app...
I had to also designate a caregiver since I can not see well enough to drive and she said nothing is showing coming for her today.
I submitted my app on 8/5, so I think today is 75 days.
