Well i was just wondering if you get caught with a dime outside the house will they search your residence?

Depends on the cop really, but there are definitely some douche-bag cops out there that would.

Also, the cop would have to get a warrant first if you told him that you don't condone to your house being searched.

no just dont let them.They could still make up some bullshit though an most likely gain entry if they suspect your selling/growing.

well i meant if i get busted smoking while driving and they find a dime on me and take me to jail. then would they get a warrant and search my house for a stash or something?

Where I live (in the USA) if one is caught for possession, it is pretty much certain that while your being processed, a warrant to search your residence will be issued and they will search. The idea is if you have a little on you, you have a larger stash at home.

Here in Massachusetts, USA, it's been a little over a year now, we voted 65-35% to make possesion of up to an ounce a $100 fine, so here no...cop writes you a ticket, takes your weed and off you go.
