If you were going to only grow 1 plant

I can't answer the question because i don't really understand the logic. What would force me to chose one strain to grow and nothing else? Pick one this time and a different one next time. I personally think people get way too worked up in making sure that they are growing the vest plant they can possibly find, there are a hell of a lot of good plants out there, it's hardly as if you have a choice of 4 to pick from and anything else grown will have been a waste of time. Just pick anything that has good reviews and then try something else with good reviews next time around :) All this "if you could only have one" is silliness :)

Isn't that the truth? I have 2 plants right now that are from seeds somebody gave a friend. (I have more than that but talking about strain snobbery here). Single seeds and he had 3. All 3 sprouted, one turned male and flew out the window. The other 2 are indicas and wailing. Been flowering 4 weeks tomorrow and are going to be great. Big heavy buds on one, tons of nice but smaller ones on the other. Both are 36" to 39".

Wal Mart grow media. 60 pound blocks with beneficial mycorrizhae already added for less than $45. Tree bark mulch, $4.99 for 40 pounds.

I buy and grow out seed from around the world. Guerrilla grew since 1964 in West Texas and southern New Mexico. I'm no expert on anything and learn daily. But some of these postings read like an Order of Battle.

Keep it simple, keep it fun.
 
I guess the question that the OP is having is that 'if your stuck on a desert island' type theoretical question. I agree - variety is the best thing in life - but to go word for word from the OP's question - If you were to grow one single plant, with the intention of quality over all other factors such as grow time, yield numbers, size, etc ( we can see he is trying to find out what we think the 'best of the best' is rather than stories )

Personally - the 'old' or original White Rhino would be my first choice, closely followed by some Bubblegum. Both take a bit longer to grow, but since thats not a factor those are my pics! haha!
