if you already reduced the sunlight hours can you bring the sunlight back up?

i had it on 8 hours sunlight then 10 hours now someone told me to have it on 12 from start to end i really dont no anymore

u want 12 hrs to induce flowers
typically one would use 18+ hrs to veg a plant
anyways to answer ur question,yes u can increase hrs

Anyway, to the OP, assuming it's not an autoflower, around 12 hours of dark or more a day will induce flowering. less than 10 or so hours of dark a day will maintain a veg in most strains (6-8 hours of dark will pretty much keep all sativa/indica strains in veg). You can basically control this yourself. You can revert to veg from a flower, but not all strains will respond the same way, and reverting to veg can take a few weeks during which the plant won't do a lot of real production.
