They should leave when the bud dries. Why didn't you remove them with the damaged bud? I hate them little bastards.

they will go to the main stem while drying,in search of water,had it happen with one of mine this year.

cool, thanks.... I did remove all that I could see (just a few) before curing in a jar but noticed there was a small one left.. Just wondered if its ok to leave.... and I hate those bastards too!

Why on earth would you leave it? They will rot your entire jar. Pick that worm and any surrounding bud out.
