If im introducing new nutrients for an aero system...

If i'm introducing new nutrients for an aero system do i have to drain all the water and then replace it first? Then from there proceed to add the correct new nutrients? Or do i just add them in the water already in there?

It depends how dirty the "water you have in there" is. Just to be safe why not flush all the current waters, replace them, then add nutes.
