your parents will take all of the legal blame. they can and will suffer the consequences if you're caught. if they don't want you to grow in THEIR house, then you shouldn't - it's that simple. they've probably done a LOT for you and you're potentially putting them in a situation that could make their lives much worse.

it all depends on where you live and what the cops are like around your area. some cops wouldnt waste their time with one plant, they might give you a warning or a caution. on the other hand some cops might go to town with it and really try to screw you. generally if you dont have a criminal record and its your first offence you'll probably get a slap on your wrist. they probably wouldnt bother your parents about it too much, unless they know about it and are involved in some way. i wouldnt lose any sleep over it. if someone commits a crime in a house its generally the person who commited the crime that gets into trouble not just the owner of the house.

I say tell NOBODY even your best friend because every person you tell increases the chance of getting busted by 10% so you go and tell two people you grow that is increasing the chance to 20%

I would lose sleep over it! I'm a grower and believe there's nothing morally wrong with growing weed. However, if I was growing in my parent's house without their approval, then I would feel culpable and would lose sleep. If you get caught and the papers report about weed being found in their house, would they lose sleep? It's something to think about!

my wife say if we get busted she is going to take the blame for it, since its in a grow box, if some cop decided to dust it for prints they would find mine and not her's, so for your family not to get into trouble I would have them not touch anything associated with the grow. I think the whole ignorance thing would work if its a small production
