if all goes well with a crop is it always better to top the plant for 4 colas

the way i see it is the topping provides opportunity for further growth.
growth is achieved by trading off resources such as nutrients, light & air flow.
if you can supply all these resources to support this possible growth, then yield WILL increase.
I've read that a well nourished, a topped plant can achieve 1.5x yield against an untopped plant.
i am still learning from the good people on here though, and I would look to get confirmation of this.
i have just today used the FIM technique on my 6 Jack Herer today so I will keep you updated.

its all testing to find out. nobody should tell you it will produce more because some strains produce less if topped than others and even in the phenos of the same strain there will be differences. side by side and tell us if it makes a difference.

Look into fimming, same thig as topping just less stressful on the plant.. U can fim every branch.. and maximize your yeild by alot..
