Identifying Strain Genetics

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but figured I'd ask anyway.

Is anyone aware of a service that can identify or narrow down what strain a particular plant is? I'm growing what my friend told me is Tahoe OG, but if I end up providing clones to anyone, it'd be nice to be able to prove it via some scientific means.

Apart from the obvious sativa, indica, purple strains etc it's pretty much an educated guess after that...

Yes, you can using genome sequencing to determine DNA. There are places to have it done, but I'd imagine it's not cheap or worth it for your average hobby grower.
