Ideas on Heating?

Ok growers,

As it is nearing winter the temperature in england is dropping and it gets very cold during the night. My plants are growing in a storage room kinda thing. Unfortunatly this is behind the wall insulation so it does not keep heat very well during lights off.

What can I do to keep a good temperature during the night without giving off any lights?

Also I can't go 24/0 because im running low on cash (seeing as its christmas and all).

Also my leaves have recently started to curl downwards at the tips, not drastically just wondering what this is. I assume its because of heatloss.

run a heater dude on a timer at night, hour on hour off to keep costs down,

Forgot to mention the space is pretty small. Also arnt those heater like 1500W on low setting? And they give off a light? Not sure if were on about the same thing :P

just get a heating blanket/ electric blanket

a warming back pad.

waterbead heating pad

hair dryer.

carseat warmer.

also if its not huge you might do well to insulate that garage

you can get a oil based heater plug in there anywhere from 750-1000w and if there a little red indicator light on it, put a piece of electrical tape on it

Thanks for all your responses! I just realised I have a heat mat that I used to keep my old snake tank on. If i put the pots on this would it be ok for them or would this hurt the roots? Or just be ineffective all round?

if ur plants are sitting on bare cold concrete i would just buy a 4'x8' sheet of foam and cut squares out and put your pots on them and then deal with the air temp with a heater i know here in the states we got lowes and they have heaters for 20-45 bucks that would do u right
