About to start looking into seed catalogues, it's that time of year again.
If you know what you're looking for you shld be able to forage for stinging nettle, it's everywhere. It grows in my yard and it is wicked stuff. It has barbs and also gives you a mild chemical burn, itchy as hell, so maybe you may not wish to grow it at your home, near pets and ppl.
You can usually purchase small Aloe plants at markets and home centers. It's grown
indoors because it won't over-winter here.
Another idea is to purchase large bags of Alfalpha economically from a farm co-op, already dried and ground up to add to your soil mix.
Those are the plants I'd recommend not growing, except for the aloe.
