I'm looking to design something that hold about 3-5 plants and i'm not sure how much room I need for them, or how big I should go. And I also need to know a good ventilation system... Help me out!

How long do you want to veg and how big do your want your plants? So you want tall for wide plants? What kind of light will you be using for the space? Ventilation is easy. You get the fan size by finding out how many CFM's will replace the rooms air in 5 mins. You make your intake low into the room with a filter and make your exhaust high out of the space with another filter. Depending on your fan will change where you put it, most fans do better sucking then blowing.

I was thinking of trying to scrog them, but i've never done that before. And i'm going to go with HPS light. Whats the watts that I need too? am I going to need metal halide too? I'm going to do some more reading on here so you don't have to answer all the questions I have to ask
I got a small indoor, 2x4 foot cabinet that fits 3 to 5 plants easily and I scrog all grows in there.
I run a 400w bulb. Its a HPS ballast and a ceramic metal halide bulb by phillips. I can veg and flower with the same bulb and get better results then a HPS bulb.
Yield depends on how long I veg them, I get anywhere between 4 to 8 oz's with the 400w. I run a 80 cfm whisper fan as exhaust and a passive intake. Bulb is air cooled with a 4" duct fan. Buds that are between 8 to 10 inches of the light get rock hard, the rest finish up real nice but just not as hard.
