I know I know, everybody here is raving about HPS systems and all but some people cant afford that. But I do plan on adding a bit of HPS, just to see if a smaller variety can produce more as well.
Right now my reflectors and such are being used for my other grow (bout 1 month into 12/12) but I felt the need to go ahead and build up and prepare my new/old growroom.
I had a rough time for a first grow, had to move plants due to scares and all kinds of shit, plants went through hell for it but still grew out nicer than some of my friends plants. The idea for the grow room would be to utilize 4 48w CFLs inside of two 12 inch reflectors and then a 70 or 150w HPS added as well. The reflectors will be mounted to a "collapseable shelf" like thing, using an old closet so why not make use of the old shelf supports. It will be shaped like a barn with a flat roof and slanted sides /---\. The HPS will be mounted to the flat piece with the CFLs on either side. More CFLs may be spread throughout the canopy later and the entire room lined with mylar.
