basically and with no details at all, you need bubble bags (a series of bags with different size micron screens)
some buckets or a washing machine
good amount of ice and water
the agitation of the flower/product will yield trichome/water solution-you strain this mixture through the bubble bags and go from there.

What kind of returns do you get on trim, popcorn and nugs? I would assume the yields depend on freshness, growers ability ect ect

I've only run fresh frozen trim-haven't dedicated entire plants to the wash jut yet, not enough room.
but the trim yields nice-many variables as you said.
don't have exact numbers, but for that recently run headband ice, I got about 4g of smokeable ice hash and a few grams to make edibles with.

You should try making rosin with the other screens. I only keep the 73u and 90u and make rosin out of the 25u, 45u, 120, 160u and sometimes 190u.

gorilla glue / quantum kush. too warm in the room when I made this. Why the darker color. It oxidized instantly. it was 75 F in that room.

I use a hair straightener and 600lb grip. Sometimes I use my friends press. I have 2 friends that have 12 ton And 20 ton H presses they converted.
I like the sasquatch press. I got some of.my hash pressed with it at chalice.
