ICE - Any previous growers?

I am a noob to hydroponics, however, im catching on pretty quick. trail and error. Has anyone grown ICE before? My little homies are doin alright, just wondering if anyone has any tips on this particular strain.

I have grown Ice for about 2 years now. Love the strain. She is very hearty, or hardy, however you put that..... she will take many nutes and not fuss much. Very stable as far as I am concerned, very hard to hermie out. She did very well, I topped her, and used some LST and supercropping to control her size and train her. She finished within 8-9 weeks every time, with large nugs. Check out some of my grows, there are pics of her all over the place. Smell is sweet, as is the smoke. Hard hitting behind the eyes. It can be a hard stone, but with the right harvest time (trichs cloudy only) you can get a fairly uplifting high, and something that you can smoke and go hiking or something. Ice is a very underestimated strain, i have grown ice in soil and man i was so surprised by how good it was. by far a very good pick for beginners. I have not grown with hydro so im not of service to you.

The way I do it is a little different than the norm. If I were you, I would look up the tutorials on it here on RIU. There are great ones about every technique.

LST will allow you to improve your yields, and better utilize your light/space in most cases. You can essentially train your plant like a bonzai, going whatever direction you need it to go, and also sending hormones out to the rest of the plant to have more main colas. Great stuff! I grow in soil, so it might be a little different for you, but feel it out!
