Hey guys recently started growing indoors n me being myself just got soil thinking all soil was good n got miriaclegrow moisture control potting soil I only started one easyryder in it and still have it in the same stuff worried about killin it switching soils I got ffof soil after becoming a member here and doing ALOT of research I know MG soil sucks thats what everyone says but my plant looks fine to me and is doing just as good if not better than my other in the ffof J/W if there is any way to completely flush the miracle grow soil cuz its got that time released fert in it or somethin like that j/w if I can flush it throughly and have some buds that arent gonna taste like MG?
 
your buds aren't going to taste like mg.. mg gets a really bad rap around here, but i really don't think its the truth.. there was a thread on here awhile ago called mg vs ffof .. it seemed like the mg id pretty good in that test that i saw.. saying that though, i've heard that the time released moisture control is the worst of the lot..
not sure if you can flush the soil though..

From my little bit of experience easyrider is really a tough plant. I Fucked up a few plants from heat issues and the easy ryder didn't have any problems. In fact I have one that is my best looking plant from that bunch
 
Hey nother newb ? J/w if when I harvest my buds if I can hang them above my grow op but still in the same box.....Its about 6ft tall n 3ft by 3ft my light is about halfway and my plants below of course jw if I could just use the extra space above the light in the grow area to also hang them to dry....I just dont know if the light or humidity would mess with the drying process....sorry the answers prolly on the site but havent found it yet
 
Im new here..... Ill see if i can make my 1st post a helpful one...The question about drying and or curing the buds in the same area isnt a good idea....You want to dry your buds in a dark place with a slight breeze as light degrades THC, once dry you also want to cure ur buds using a airtight jar, burping the jar every couple of days or so....there is tons of useful information all over in the cult. and curing threads....as im my explanation is pretty vague...

I've checked out the other forums as well and this is the place I decided to make my home:mrgreen:, i have seen endless amounts help and useful info passed on throughout the community and its a blessing to have a place like this to come and get the info u desire and ask the questions u cant ask everyone about...Thanks
 
+1 rep man thanks ill just do as I was originally gonna do and dry them under my bed I got a caliking water bed with a huge space in the bottom bout a ft n a half tall,a ft wide n 7ft long perfect dark dry n if I need to ill put a small comp fan blowing air through it slowly...n the curing process im pretty familiar with as a friend had me take care of his harvest rite after he dried it (some ppl found out he had them all in all long story short he wanted all the shit outta his crib) so I cured it for him and he was very pleased as I took very good care and rotated buds in jars and all that nit picky stuff they turned out well just didnt know bout drying but now I do thhanks again yo I would be one horrible farmer if I didnt have RIU!!!! yay you guys

Miracle Grow might make plants look nice, but that's all it's for. it's not for growing plants that you smoke. Never ever. Everything ends up tasting chemical-y and gross.

You might want to stock up some flushing products like Final Phase. OK, well, I don't know if that will help your problem since I've never used Miracle Grow before and had the issue that you seem to be havin. I've heard lots of problems from other growers, but I wonder if they ever tried flushing with a decent flush product........

I find that Advanced Nutrients products really help to keep the nutrient taste outta my plants. Maybe that's what you can try the next time?????
 
I got 2 ppl telling me 2 diff things one saying MG doesnt deserve all the bad rap it gets and the other saying yes it does it pretty much sucks??? WHICH ONE IS IT!?!?!?! and I have to agree with you deff makes plants look Awesome!!!!

How are you sure its the miracle grow that makes the weed you smoke taste "chemical-y" if you have never grown in miracle grow and seen how good of an outcome you can really get?
 
I personal use MG " potting soil mix " before i plant my seeds i flush the medium with in a 1 gallon pot with luke warm water about 1 gallon worth of water to get it ready for my seedlings. Who ever is telling you MG isnt worth it, try it yourself an see if it works for you. as for me i have been useing it for a little while i will admit that MG does contain weird like fruit flys that your gonna have to control with a " pest strip " or natual way is a praying mantis yes the real monster of the cannabis trees ! lol

Is that 5 weeks from seed? Mine is 4 weeks from putting a germinated seed in the dirt. It's not as big as yours though but it is starting to grow pretty fast. I had some heat issues at first so it was probably stunted.
