And they had these great glass "bell" type pipes to smoke hash off a coal with. Does anyone know what those are called or where I can get one online or in the San Francisco??

sounds like a hookah to me, use coals to burn the buds..hopethis helps

No it wasn't a hookah, but same type of coal. The coal was on a piece of marble and you put the bell pipe thing over it. Such a simple design but I cant find one anywhere!

Its called a hash bell. the site given has them. These bells have a side arm that you heat up w/ some heat source, drop it down and dab on your hash. if not, buy a few coals and just position the bell over the hash smoke......personally i would just cut the bottom off a waterbottle and use that to capture the smoke, but the bell adapter will enable you to utilize the bong.

You should really use a TI (Titanium) pad. No coal residue.

eh I haven't heard too many good things about those...

and the orange residue buildup concerns me... (and no it's not from the weed, several sources indicate this happens without contact to hash oil...)

Yea, I saw in another thread people were discussing Titanium oxides and shit in regards to the actual pad. I don't have one, but how much do the pads actually cost?
