I want a harvest every month?

What's up everybody,

Well here is the deal, I will be moving to my own place here in a couple weeks and I want to invest in better equipment to grow with. After reading Al B's thread on getting a harvest every two weeks I decided that I wanted to do something similar to that but on a much smaller scale ( much smaller ). So basically I want to keep one mother to take clones from ( about 3-4 clones ) every month. I want to have two flower chambers, one for the first month of flowering and one for the second month of flowering that way I will have a harvest every month and a steady supply of weed otherwise all my friends and family will smoke it all up.

So a few questions...

1.Will one mother be enough to take 3-4 clones every month?
2.What lighting ( prefer cheapest running most effective light ) would I need to maintain a mother?
3. What lights do you think will be most suitable for the two flower chambers?
4.should I put a lower wattage HPS in the first flower chamber and higher in the second flower chamber?

Appreciate all input and comments...I got the munchies!

Peace

Why would you need two flowering chambers? I'm thinking all you would need is a veg room and a flowering chamber, keep your mother(s) and clones in the veg room while budding mature plants in the flowering chamber, keep desired amount of plants in the flowering room, as those plants are flowering the clones are vegging, just ad clones as you see fit, process of rotation.

figuring out the right time to ad your clones might be a problem at first but once you get it down you should always be harvesting something, I have two rooms to work with and I plan on doing the rotation, while I'm smoking one batch the other will be finishing and so on, my hopes that in time I will have a continued amount of supply.

I thought about that keeping one mother and the clones in one room and just putting clones in at different times ( every month ) that way every month or so a group will come out for harvest and a group of clones go in next to the others. Either way that's what I'm looking for.

So what light would you recommend for 1 mother and 3-4 clones?

What light for the flowering section? you think a 400 watter would do?

Heck for the mother and clones I would just use some flo's/tubes as the clones don't need much light and you only want to keep the mother alive.

A 400w flowering 3 -4 plants I think would be perfect! you could probably get away with more, but I've never used one before, this is my first grow and I'm using cfl's.

have a look at my ghetto setup, I just found out today that the front right plant is my first girl:mrgreen:

Yeah I'm using CFL's right now too, I'm using 3-42w 2700k surrounding the plant with reflectors ( shop light reflectors ) and 4-26w 6500k at the top. I only got one plant but long behold a couple days ago I found out that is is female, so I got about I don't know 20-30 little white hairs all down the plant ( every node except the very bottom one ) but it feels like they take soooooo long to start really building a bud looking cluster but I flowered early like at a month ( 6-8 inches ) due to me about to move ( didn't want to be walking through apt. hallway with a box smelling like chronic and leaves hanging out)

I actually have a couple 4 foot floro shoplight right now. I just thought say a 50w hps would save more energy than 1 or 2 shoplights at 80watts a peice and perform a little better but then I thought it might be too strong or hot for the clones and make the mother grow too fast

You don't think I could get some good results putting 3 clones in one month and one month later put 3 more in under a 400w HPS

Thanks for replys

I think that sounds fair enough but you're going to have to play around with that part, Unless someone with experience that has done something like this comes along and gives you a heads up!

Also if you want the clones to grow faster, separate them after root development from the mother to some cfl's if at all possible and I'm thinking you would want to continue to keep the mother under the flo's as it does slow growth.
