i wanna build a system need some help

alright guys i wanna build a basic system for 4-5 plants im gonna be getting a 400watt hps in the next week or so and i wanna get this built before any ideas?

Ebb and Flow

pros.
Speedy growth
Ortomated watering
Reliable system
Easy to use

Cons
Not as fast as Airo and DWC
Must have a high room.
A little harder to set up.

DWC and Airo

Pros
Really fast growth.
Easy to set up.
No midum required

Cons
Lots of factors to think about.
You need a reliable power supply


There are probably more pros and cons, that is just to get you started.
Take a look at those systems by searching and see what you think.

im gonna do wit the dwc how hard are these things to build i cant imagine they be to hard

My Current set up is a DWC, It works really well, only drawback i have had with it so far was mold but thats probably due to my grow room and not my system. anyways here is a link to a simple system... you may want to build something a bit bigger, but it will give you a basic idea

Read these two threads. They are simpley brillant. I have been following these instruction and have so far had no problems.

There is a lot to think about in DWC, you will need to spend 30mins per rez each day and you will need a bit of equpment, it's pretty much all covered in those articles but a couple of things I would make sure you have are.

An enzyme (these really help keep your roots healthy)
Two air pumps per Rez
Some way of keeping your REZ at a cool 68F, very important.

Here is a pic of my grow a couple of days ago.
There are 8 clones in this pic, they are 27 days into flowering.

PS. although I have had really good results with DWC, I am going to try Ebb and Flow for my next grow. I am going to do this because DWC takes to much metanance, and I plan on being away for the odd weekend during the summer months.
