I Thought UFO's Were Flying Around My House.

So I just got completely toasted and I'm sitting here at the PC. Behind my monitor there's a window that sits to the left of my peripheral vision. there's mini blinds on the window, but they're only open partially so you can't see out all that well.

Anyway, I see all these lights zipping around the sky outside. For a few seconds I'm wigged out big time. I don't believe in UFO's or any of that horseshit, but that's what came across my mind. Come to find out, it's only fireflies. They just broke out a few days ago, so I guess that didn't occur to me right away.

Still pretty weird though.

We get em' big time here for a few weeks in the early summer. Always have. When we were kids, we'd collect giant jugs of them. I always felt kinda bad the next day when they were all dead. I guess they don't live that long anyway...

I knew one dumbass kid back then who'd take them and squash the bug across his FUCKING TEETH. They'd glow for a second. It was retarded.
