Yeah have some consideration for folks living around you. Imagine having 2 kids and living above that said unit. It's common sense. Vape, edibles etc. many options like people said and problem solved.

It's the new world apartment dwellers...suck it up. Now the alcohol swilling jerks that have been disrupting the world ...well forever...got a problem they might not like. hmmm

Since when did a patients right to medicine allow them to infringe on the rights of others?

This has nothing to do with a patients rights, this has to do with said "patient" polluting other peoples private domains. Being a patient is irrelevant.

I hope you're being sarcastic. If not then attitudes like this ruin it for everyone. In said example, a family living above you, now wanting to smell marijuana smoke will fight you tooth and nail, until you're either evicted or fall down the stairs accidentally. Now this would be the least of it, because they may with to contact the media etc. and make a huge stink about it and guess who looses at the end of the day...let me give you a hint, it's not the family nor the landlord.

Well from the apartment building's Iv'e seen over the years respect between tenants seems pretty low.
Talk about polluting....how bout the stinky cooking...kids screaming...arguments....fights....slamming doors.....piss stink......garbage in hallways...graffiti on walls....loud music.....heavy drug use.....robberies....intimidation by youth.....reeking elevators.....carrying on at all hours.....screeching tires in the parking lot at 4am.....lobby destruction....ignorant neighbors....slamming noises no one can figue out...etc...etc...etc
I'm not so sure anyone in those places cares anything but for themselves. Should there be respect,...yes...is there ? NO
I'm not so sure the med patient using his meds is going to ruin the place.
And kids now-a-days will need to told what MJ is and explain it as you would someone who is drinking a beer. It's not for kids, but adults do it.
I mean if it goes legal...what you gonna say to the kids then. Might as well start now if it comes up. It's not hard to explain what's ok and what's not to kids. Just parent up and do it.
and I'm pretty sure smoking tobacco in an apartment is legal...am I wrong on that. The reg posted here didn't mention a private residence.which an apartment is. correct me..........................which I'm sure you will

Not entirely sure how it is in the states or such, but in the UK, any of those things could end up with a court date. A lady a few years ago was convicted in court for having sex too loud.

We are here in Canada, not 'or such'......

I own my own house and I still go outside as a courtesy to everyone else living here. Sure sucks at -40 though!

I like smoking outside better than smoking inside. Rooms get disgusting and stuffy when you have a bunch of people smoking inside.

I want nothing more than for england to be knocked out at the group stage. Too much entertainment to be had from it. Not a fan of footy. Love playing it though. I'm more annoyed at brazils result. I picked them in a sweepstake at work
