I think she is ready. Am I right?

This is one of my 2 surviving ladies. I killed 2 by poisoning them with damprid that dripped into my runoff that the plants sat in for a day. This one looks to be ready to me. She has been flowering for 9 weeks today. She is a DNA Stacked Kush grown in soil under T5's and CFL's. I have been using GoBox nutrients but stopped with her a little over a week ago. Just water and some molassesIMG_1684.jpgIMG_1691.jpgIMG_1692.jpgIMG_1693a.jpgIMG_1683a.jpgIMG_1685a.jpgIMG_1686.jpgIMG_1687.jpgIMG_1688.jpgIMG_1689.jpgIMG_1690.jpgsince. The calyxes look to be swollen pretty well and the pistils look to be pulling in. There are some amber trichs but most of the rest are cloudy. I made the mistake of watering her last night because I was afraid the soil was too dry and I had not had the time to look her over well. I am thinking Saturday morning before the lights come on I will chop chop. Suggestions and opinions are welcome. Oh, I am posting a few pics of a Green House Thai I am growing just because she is purdy...

You really should get a magnifying glass and look at your trichs. If they're clear.....wait a bit. If they're cloudy or amber...it's time to harvest.

They look done to me. Once you see amber trichs, your good to go. Don't wait for mostly amber as the THC will start to degrade. Have fun trimming, and an even better time smoking it. Peace

thanks. i think the stacked kush looks pretty done too. there are not many amber trichs(and i have looked at them with a 60x power mag glass from HTC). i had to harvest 2 others a couple of weeks ago because of my screw up and the smoke from them is pretty heavy duty though a little bit too heart racy for my tastes. the trichs on those were pretty much all clear. i am hoping this has a bit more of a couch locky deal going on. the thai that i have a couple pics of has another month at least to go i think.

that is salt build up from this grow only. yikes? am i overdoing it? i don't really flush them ever...

I think it may be typical with water fed, non organic nutes...no experience, my pots only look remotely like that if I use them more than once and don't clean them thoroughly between grows.

the nutes i have been using are general hydroponics gobox which are supposed to be organic(the box says vegan but they aren't as they used ground up squid in one of their bottles). the picture is a little misleading. they appear whiter than they are. my plants seem to like them. however, i am a noob so they may have liked a lot of other manufacturers better or equally.

They don't look done to me.

Buds typically take on a gnarly look when they are done, I would also expect more trich development, more frost.

More swollen calyxes.

Like I said they don't look done.

Don’t worry about a few amber trichs especially if you still have plenty of clear trichomes, the amber could be premature and if so wont multiply quickly.

I'd say look at them again the same time next week, if they have developed you know they are still growing, if not, chop, chop, chop.

The only way you can truly know if they're done or not is to sample some from when flowering peaks throughout the rest of a grow to learn when you like it the best. It's subjective. Some people like to eat bananas when they're overripe. The more times you grow a strain and sample at different points, the more you know when you like it harvested.

PS: It gives you an excuse to pull some off and quick dry without feeling like you're wasting!

thanks church haze. i harvested the top buds and left the bottom stuff to mature more. my sampling tolerance is pretty weak. any of the crop i have grown so far kicks the crap out of me. my sons are pretty seasoned and it all does them up pretty well too. one has problems with joint pain and one i harvested a few weeks ago (that i accidentally killed) was called silver l.a. and he says it is really good for his joint pain. some og kush 18 we have is more of a racy, trippy high that was harvested (and killed accidentally the same way) at the same time. have not tried the stacked kush yet but i have them in a mason jar curing now. still have my thai girl who is getting to be quite the fatty.
