I think seedbanks are full of shit.

I dont know if I buy all the genetics bullshit that the seedbanks feed us. For example, one company has White Skunk and says its genetics are White Widow and Super Skunk, and another has the same strain and lists the genetics as Trainwreck X Shiva. (which are COMPLETELY different plants!). Another company has an "indica seed pack" and it comes with White Widow, which has always been a classic Sativa. Another grower on here purchased the Indica Seeds Pack, and his White Shark indica turned out to be mostly sativa!

Kinda makes me feel like theyre sending us all a bunch of bagseed... like we'd know the difference anyway.

Anybody feel the same way? I feel like I'm paying an arm and a leg for seeds, when my bagseed plants have always turned out at $65/eighth quality anyway! I just dont trust the genetics from any of these online seedbanks. Do you?

ya i feel on ya that, i would not recommend the mixed packs i would never trust them with those, god knows what they would put it in.

when i order i leave the comment "breeders original pack" and usually they keepem sealed but im gonna grow out all 10 and actully see if there going to be the same...i ordered big buddha cheese from gypsy nirvana should be here soon.

all seed banks use the same names different strains saying theres is better..Its just competiton.. I would recommmend subcool strains..hes legit as fuck and real cheap.

It's been this way for many years. There are alot seedbanks out there, all competing for customers dollars. That's why you should generally stick with the "older" seed distributors, such as Paradise, Serious, Sensi and actually a bunch of others too. Remember, it's a jungle out there and most of them don't really care about you- just your money. I used to spend about $1K-$1.5K a year but now after being ripped off sooooooo many times the last 2 years, I order only when I'm desperate and have no choice. Even then, I only expect to received about 1/2 the seeds I order.
Let the buyer beware!

I think I'm going to do bagseed from now on. I cant justify spending so much money on something thats so hit-or-miss. I'd rather grow a few bagseeds, find a strain I like, and spend my money on lights, nutes, or co2.

I think you will find many here who have had some serious success with bagseeds. I never ordered and dont plan on starting. Im sure there is some legitamacy with the seeds guys but I m also sure not everything is what they say it is like every retailer. Ever see the Shamwow commercial with the carpet soak up the soda scene?
just gotta find some decent bagseeds and no swag shit. Grew the schwag shit-one gal put out close to 6oz's and the buds looked awesome dried...but u only get high for 20 mins tops. Like that fake bud. funny thing my boys still ask me to get that over the primo stuff. :wall:

Yeah, my last grow was all bagseed. 16 different strains. I had one that was super dense, stinky, and covered in resin, that I'd love to grow again if i still had the strain. Almost, if not, 100% indica. Thats what I'd like to grow. It seems (for me at least) that its near impossible to tell sativa from indica when you buy it already dried and cured, otherwise it'd be much easier to find an indica to grow.

Bagseed is hit or miss too, but its a HECK of a lot cheaper!

(My current grow I have 2 White Skunk's that I bought the seeds for, and 2 bagseeds. As far as rate of growth, the bagseeds are kicking the white skunk's ass).
