you want your light close as possible without harming the plant,,it is stretching because it is reaching for the light,,if you keep the light closer,,plant stays shorter and tighter,,and allows the stalk to fatten and it will be able to hold it's fat ass buds up when they start forming,,,hope this helps,,and good luck
