On Emergency life support - Urgent ICU!. ... please help!

hey everyone, I am brand spanking new to this site… And yes I am and amateur grower. This is only my second grow, but I thought I knew what I was doing because my first grow I ended up with a 7 foot tall by 4 1/2 feet wide beautiful “Frankenstein“ the last time I grew with 26 HUGE nodes and then someone hacked the 3” stem 1/3 up the plant bc the trunk was a tree basically and unable to penetrate with even huge shears. This time I did pretty much everything you could possibly think of wrong… I hit them all. They originally started in the same pot, definitely overwater them and they were probably just practically living in water…(pics 1 and 2 dated June30)<—- Two weeks ago I transplanted them to their own (3g?) pots thinking they would take off, they were healthy up till this point except for a couple bug bites. After transplant The bugs were getting at it a little more and leaves started dying so I thought it was from bugs, sprayed it with the right soap for thrips and stuff like that and pretty much took care of that problem however I ended up with leaves still dying... i figured it was bc we were going through a huge heat wave, and I thought it was lack of nutrients, and I read through tens of hundreds of posts and it just seem like my plants were suffering from every problem Lol) So it was definitely the worst week to transplant plants ever. Trying to make this shortish, everything started turning yellow and brown edges and I hadn’t fed it really yet because it was still eating nutrients in the soil, was getting desperate bc they were slowly dying so I fed it and it got terrible nutrient burn and in my opinion it was good as dead… I did end up flashing it the day after I fed it though but Each ended up with about five leaves left, and those leaves were terrible as well. And I was literally about to throw the things out because the soil is terribly compacted, I have no clue where I’m at as far as nutrition, and I’m pretty sure they turned into some sort of (theoretically) potted hydroponic plants considering the overwatering that I did. However all the sudden within the last week to my astonishing surprise they decided to start sprouting branches everywhere however the leaves are deformed but growing well, like nothing before, almost looks like separate plants are growing out of them. My question is, what should I do to get these back on track… if i can do anything at all... They are def feminized seeds that I found in a batch of medical marijuana that I picked up from the dispensary. I know that the soil is compacted so I didn’t know if transplant was an option. Yes I know I put them in way too big of pots, but that was only because I was picturing the last plant I grew which was humongous, but that grew in the ground. So yes I made every mistake possible, and at one point I’m pretty sure subconsciously I was purposely trying to kill them because I was just so frustrated with them killing off leaves with nothing helping. I would love to, if there was anyway, to repot them so that I can plant them in healthy loser soil but I don’t know if it’s possible to get the compacted soil out of the roots But I will do anything to save them so please any help would be much appreciated and I apologize for writing this novel. Oh and also last question, one of the plants, the one on the left, is still growing up words again… It wasn’t for the past two weeks but now it is, however the other one is not but looks like it’s growing one note below that’s going to take over for the top? Notes: was originally grown in MG (i know) and transplanted to MG organic... yea, missed the pearlite and proper soil.. found that out of course after my dumb* ss transplanted them .

So I stop and get corn, and I knew I needed something that was lower and nitrogen and higher and phosphate and potassium… Because the leaves are coming in thick and very green so I know they’re high in nitrogen… and they just so happen to have perfect organic nuts right at the stand... So I got a 3-3-6 NPK rating and some worm casings, both organic… I’m thinking of repotting them with Perlite on the inside edges of the pot and bottom topped with worm castings and then drop the plant into the pot again so that I don’t disturb the roots but the worm castings can go to work along with the perlite. Hopefully someone has some direction, thanks in advance!!

I guess nobody has any help for me… In any event, I ended up transplanting/repotting them last night and it went off without a hitch, absolutely no transplant shock, and they are in some very comfortable organic soil with pearl light and worm castings I’ll keep my imaginary friends out there updated!

You probably didn't get any response because no one wanted to read the book you wrote. You'll have better luck on getting a response with several shorter posts. I didn't read the book either but judging by the pics you gave them too much love...too many nutes and too much water. Make sure the pots get light before you water each time and take it easy on the nutes.

Viking is spot on.

I’d suggest coco w breathable pots then there’s no overwater worry. Feed light- half at best and 1/4 often doable from nute company directions.

Yeah man those things are overwatered. Viking is right about too much love, water and nutes. Take it from another amateur, do not overthink it.

they are ok just leave them alone and give them enough time , try to forget watering and let them completely wilt , try forget to feed and let plant eat it's lower leaves , then start you feeding and increase and see how plant response to it , you can't make them grow perfect in any aspects , leave them they will find again how to grow

I wouldn’t have read it either! Anyway, I ended up transplanting them/repotting them into new pots but with the same soil but I added perlite and worm castings and they are both doing excellent! The soil in the outgoing pots was so hard it felt like a rock. Thanks again, I’ve been taking it easy on the water, gave them a very light 3-3-6 of organic healthy grow and some 5-1-1 of Alaska fish fertilizer, light on it. And as you see they are healthy.

Good news!

By your description of the soil rocking right up, probably means it needed more organic matter in your soil, and better drainage / aeration. I'd say thats why they improved when you added perlite and worm castings...If you check your soil's ph i'll help make an educated on whether it was sodic, or just clay.

Take it easy for a week or two. No salty fertilizer, only water.

In a week or two, if its an outdoor plant, and hasn't greened up further. Top feed some gentle manure, and cover the top with straw, hay or something similar.
Check the ph of your soil first.

Lol a book

These plants are so burnt up.. I would def pitch them and start over. You won't get much of anything and it's not worth the hassle at this point. I have a friend who is growing the exact same strains that I am. Have her one plant of each of the ones I popped. She is using MG for veg and they look absolutely great. So maybe your using way too much to often. Idk but my first grow I didn't know much about growing this plant and I used zero nutes until transition and my plants looked great. My opinion is that your over feeding them In a Major way. I have a dark Angel now that is overfed somewhat it can't handle the nutes like the other strains I have all plants are different and can handle different strengths. I would def throw those out and start fresh

Yam [correction] they WERE so burnt up... if you still think i should “scrap em” lmk... lol - no I could definitely appreciate your opinion, that was my thought a couple weeks ago as well… I was about to say screw it... it was just me trying to correct one problem, and that would cause another problem so on and so forth until ended up like that… But I ended up transplanting them/repotting them rather, added perlite and worm castings and let the girls ride for five days until I added Some 3•3•6, and then four days later I added some 5•1•1 Alaskan fish fertilizer… Let me know what you think, I lost about a months worth of sunlight so I’m pretty happy with what I have considering. Oh! And just in case someone doesn’t know, these are both outdoor plants, in the Northeast, no indoors whatsoever. And whats crazy is, my first grow I only used water and started off with garden soil and I ended up with a 7 foot tall 4 a half foot wide beautiful baby, no joke. I’ll post some pics as soon as I log onto my computer that’s slow as S*^t. Thanks to all that replied to my book! Lol, my bad on that, but seriously, thank you to whoever actually read the whole thing, much much appreciated. Ps: ill take some pics when they’re awake...

i would pull sit the whole plant in fresh water overnight and repot the next day in some coco or soil with no nutes

It looks fine other than the drooping... The last pictures they had almost no leaves lol.. but they have bounced back quit a bit. It looks to be over watering causing the driopiness. Maybe do a little less to them. They don't need as much as your giving them. Def back off a little and make sure to give them plain water at least every other watering especially in veg. DON'T REPOT. It will just slow growth and the pot looks plenty big enough

They don't look to have any deficencies. When the entire stem is droopy is underwatered... When the stems are good but the leaves themselves are droopy it's overwatered. Looks like it's had some over watering quite a while. Space out your watering and only feed every other. And she will straighten out for you.

Hey Yam, yeah, they literally were pretty much I think two days away from just being dead dead. LOL, but yeah, I’m pretty happy with how they have bounced back… There really aren’t drooping more than usual… It was 2am EST. So they were getting their Shut eye! Here’s a couple pics of them during the day… I’ve been doing pretty well with watering, few days off in between… I’ve only fed it twice in the past two weeks and they were a switch btwn low N and more P, K... and then the organic fish fert is higher N and low P, K. so it’s not like I’m feeding them all that often, for the most part they are getting freshwater. ALSO, im leaning the big guy on purpose to strengthen the base of the stem a little more and to give some solid attention to tge late bloomers. Tim, what is "gentle manure?" Never heard of top feeding it. Doesn't it have to be in the soil to be effective?
