Background:
I am growing an autoflower plant in a closet under CFLs and am at day 19.
The screw up:
The my power bar dropped 2 inches and burned the top of my few leaves of my plant and burned the leaves that were developing on the top of the stem. The pistils that shot out of that node look like they're not burned but the leaves beside it are pretty badly burned.
Because autoflowers have such a short life span, it is not recommended to top the plant but I thought that it would be best if I topped it as the small developing leaves were burned anyways.
I was wondering I took the best course of action as I would assume the burned leaves would be useless anyways. Here is a pic of what I have now:

The current leaves on top are a bit burned but left it since it was just a bit.
Now where does the "screwing up x2" come in?
Well... as I was taking the pic for this post... I dropped a 1-2lb fan directly on the plant....
Doesn't seem like it caused too much damage as it stayed in tact other than the fact that the stem is a bit bent....
Not having a good day. Did I take the best course of action or should I have left it?
Shes going to be pretty stressed....
Thanks.
