I was recently transplanting my poor baby. when i was picking her up a slammed door scared me and ripped the bottom portion of her roots. I finished transplanting and gave her some nutes. anyway my baby is gonna survive??
Post a pic of the plant itself we could determind the root structure. if its a brand new seedling you will probally have problems. if its a big plant or growing good then it should recover with nothing more but a lilttle bit of stunted growth
This happened to me when transplanting my rooted clones, they had not much roots but they recovered themselves in a few days and everything is OK now. Just put them under direct light and cut the large leaves in half.

Because the plant will focus more on rooting than growing. They do it when they take clones and cut the large leaves in half to let the plant concentrate on rooting. Correct me if it's wrong.
My rule of thumb when I do this and the plant doesn't snap back to vigor on the second day is to start cutting it back until the root system is able to catch back up. Granted with clones that really isn't an option but once you get past the first few nods of growth it will help. Good Luck
