Tell me if this looks like it will work or not

I'm growing in 1 gallon milk jugs with black trash bag around one and some black shorts around the other to prevent algae from growing. I'm thinking of moving each plant into a 3 gallon pot but i'm not sure how i can transplant without damaging the roots. I don't even know if plants can grow to an acceptable size within a 1 gallon pot. I've just heard 1 gallon pots may work from BudsForLess

If you have advice on transplanting or anything at all I'd really like to here

Thanks

good rule of thumb is a gallon per vertical foot, transplanting is really easy, especially if you have a lot of roots just take an exacto to the jugs and the roots should hold the soil together.

In my third picture it looks like one of my plant's leaves are bending. Is this because of too much heat?

Also, Should my light be lowered or higher? it is a 150w hps econolight
Should I supplement with cfls for vegging or is this enough?

twisting at the tips can often be caused by genetics, get urself a thermometer and make sure you arent going over 80F at the tops of the plants, then just keep the light as low as possible. I dont thing any amount of cfls will increase your lumens much as compared to the hps. maybe once you plants are large use cfl for side lighting.

today i noticed a blotched circler on one of my leaves. I was thinking it looked like a snail trail. That shiny coating that snails leave behind. I didn't see any snails. Any ideas as to what this may be?

the pick bellow shows the white snail like splotch. Perhaps some botany whiz can help me identify wtf is going on with the leafs curling and the splotch? I thought it might be a spider mite and I am pretty sure i saw a tiny little black dot on a plant or too
