I have completed 2 harvests with slightly disappointing results. I got 6 ounces of fluffy weed that was really hairy and didn't resemble anything I have ever purchased commercialy. I have 3 400 watt lights and have been using 5 gallon buckets. I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how I could increase my yield. Any advice will help. Ty

keep in vegitative state for one week longer then you have so far.
get a 100x microscope so that way you see the tricomes. if theyre ready they are not clear and not totally colored

If I trim off the lower branches will it add density to my buds. And I have grown a couple different kinds of weed and they all looked pretty much the same. The hairs were very large and seemed to dominate all of the weed. Y voild that happen? Ty.

You would need to give us some more details than that to get some better responses on how to improve your setup.

One question would be:
What do you grow in (soil, coco, rockwool etc)?

You have enough room and sufficiant lighting to grow decent plants so whatever you have done in the past obviously doesnt work so you need to start over and change your setup. Have you considered growing in coco coir?

What would that help with? I really just went with the clay pebbles because of how I do my grow. Idk wat my method is called but I have the plants in 5 gallon buckets with a hole cut in the lid and a smaller net pot habing from it so the roots grow down into the bucket and I have a fish tank bubbler supplying oxygen to the nutrients in the buckets.I'm willing to try anything this is just the first way I was introduced to growing by some friends.
