how many lights would I need, for a closet its 5x5, I want 4 I'm gonna have to use gallon pots, I thought of using foam coolers the square shaped one's, I germinated in Styrofoam and the cups worked really well but how many lights shuld I have and what should the nutrient levels be, I know more nitrogen in the beginning, and mots phosphate or potassium in the flowering stage.

400w Hps or MH

they usually are 300 dollars or 400

for a 5x5 space your gonna want atleast 2, 400 watt MH's or 1 1000 watt MH just one 400 watt would be like 1120 lumens per sq foot you'll want a minimum of 3000 lumens per sq foot for proper growth so they dont get all streached and linky

I'm using CFL's, the MH and Sodium light set up is a future thing, thanks because I still needed that info, but now I just have 3 46 watt = 150 equivalent blue or sun bulbs.

You need between 60-80w of CFL light per plant. So, 2 of those 46watters per plant should be fine.
