:peace: I'm seeking some advice regarding my indoor crop. It's my first time growing. I started with an aerogarden (and still have one of my plants in the base with the constant H2O flow to see the difference in the rate of growth as compared to the soil...it seems to be about 10 days ahead in case you're wondering) Anyhoo, my plants are nearing the peak of flowering, with about 10-15% of the white hairs turning reddish orange. The leaves surrounding the buds are withering and drying (the plants are well hydrated) around the buds. I have read that that is a natural process and that they are 'feeder leaves' and I have also heard that when this happens I should harvest right away. How long does it take for the flowers to turn from their current state (10-15%) to 'ripe'? Please help. Thanks!!

the leaves going like that is normal.

how long is tough to say since each strain goes at its own rate. could happen fast, could take another week or so... you have to keep an eye on them and see what rate they go at. check twice a day till you get an idea how fast they are turning.

unless the plant is actually dying though, there is no need to "harvest fast" when the leaves start to go.
