i need help with my plants

what should i do?
top? fim?
im running a cfl first grow
they are between 4 and 5 inchs tall
wondering if i start flowering now will how big will they be in the end?
im scared to lst, they are my first and i dont want to break them
what about the spiral cutting to make them grow taller faster? how do you do that?

lst them gentlty it wont break.,.,just start by bending it with a spike like this^ and tip the plant gently the plant will go up toward the lite then repeat theyre young and soft now so this is the time to start.,.,.,u can also combine with top'n and get wonderful results.,.,

ok should i use fishing line for lst and tie it to the edge of the pot?

and i was wondering about fim but im scared im gonna fuck it up
 
i wouldnt use fishing line, it is too thin it will choke the plant and it will begin to grow around it. I use wire but it still happens sometimes. best thing to start with is string or yarn or something soft and thick

nice looking plants btw :)
 
Hi, I agree, nice starts! Try tying the tips down with cotton string or nursery green tape. I tape string to the pot for a week or two until I see branches starting then a little while longer...Pinching causes a wound that can be invaded... 6 inch starts set to flower generally get 18 to 24 inches tall. Of course depends on particular plant variety, feeding, lighting, & co2 etc. More Lumens = more bud generally

and thank you for the complement
they were stunted for a long time and now they are taking off like a couple of rockets
i just fim'd them and im scared i fucked them up but it was my first and only time will tell

i figure 5 to 6 in and start to flower but i wasnt to sure that means i really got to get to work on this closet and get my plants out of this box

do you recommend a small 1 1/2 foot tall veg chamber and a 4 1/2 foot flower
instead of a 3 foot veg and 3 foot flower
something along those lines

im going cfls
and thinking fuoro tubes for flower but i cant make up my mind and dont have much time
