i need help raising ph..

hi im just wondering if i water my plants everyday with 6.2 ph why is the ph run off lower? its i think at like 5.5 5.8. im growing in a soil-less soil sunshine mix#4. can i just raise the ph of the water in the resivoir higher? like maybe ill make the water 7.0 and this will raise my soils ph to about 6.3? any help will be helpful +rep to everyone that helps

If your plants are doing good, don't mess around with anything. Think tho, your plants drink the H2O out of the water, and leave stuff they don't need. The runoff water is just more concentrated with salts, and impurities, hence has a much different ph.
Again, don't worry about it unless your plants are suffering. All those ph's you mentioned are fine, 5.8-6.8 is perfect. I water with 6.2-6.5 in a hydro system.

thank you mannurse. the plants dont seem to have anythin wrong with them. i just want them to be bigger. my friend has almost the same setup as me but his are huge. this is the first time i did ph i usually never messed with it but, i heard it was really important to keep my ph in a certain range and then i heard about the run off so i checked and it was all different. just making sure to see if it was right. +rep
