i would assume so. thats 3000w worth of hps going at one time. on top of the pumps and fans and everythign.. just my 2 centsHey whats up you guys!I am thinking about buying the greenhouse from homegrown hydroponics it uses 3 HPS bulbs that are 1000w each.Now I am not at all experienced at this.Would this eat up a significant amount of electricity or not?? thanks---peace

Significant to who? In my area we pay 10 cents per kwhr so that's 30 cents for every hour they are on. That will also make a lot of heat which has to be controlled. And you should have an electrician verify the circuit can handle that.
