right i have my plants at 1ft now and healthy as fuck straight from seed they veged for 5 week under cfl blue specs

they are in my wardrobe which is about 5ft in hieggt and 3 ft in width 2 plants

my problem i have them in 10l pots which obviously take up inches hieght wise and from stem to top of plants they are exactly 1 ft my prob is if i put a 600 hps in this size wardrobe

how far is neccesary for a 600w to be from top of plants

from the top of plants to the hieghhest i could get my 600 would leave a space of 2.7ft so im wondering if they stretch and the distance the light would have to be to prevent burning my plants

will i have enough space to harvest here???

yes you eill. just get a fan at light level to blow the heat away from the top of your plants.

I would start flowering them now if I were you... I have a cabinet the same size. You are going to want to keep the light 6-12 inches away from the tops of the plants.. a great rule of thumb is stick your hand under the light for one min. if it burns your hand it will burn the plants... good ventilation will also be a need, its going to get hot if its not done right.

ok thanks for advice guys so how about i get a 400watt bulb and stick it in my 600 watt setup would this be more advisable or should i get a 250 watt bulb because soon i will have space at my mates to use the 600 hps bulb i just want to get enough yield and decant bud and im happy

NO DO NOT DO THAT! I would not advise you to take a 250 watt bulb and put it in a 600 watt set up. I have this odd feeling that would be a very grim situation

Meh just chuck the 600 watter in and see how it goes. Closely moniter the temps and if the plants start buring get a 250watt setup and sell the 600.

If I were you I would think about LST rather than FIM. Your plants are young enough that you should be able to train them over in an arc shape. You can slowly bend each top over and tie it down to the pot next to it. The tops will eventually start growing back up again and this should solve your height problem. The light choice is another matter. I think a 600 watt will be too hot for in there. I had a 400 watt in a 4' x8' x8' room and had to keep the light 16" away from the tops before I ventilated the fixture.
